Whilst we have many initiatives to minimise single use plastic there are certain things (bin liners, packaging, wrapping and containers) that we are unable to mitigate at the moment. Whilst much of this is effectively recycled we needed to take additional action.
As part of our continuous improvement approach to sustainability we have decided the best way for us to reduce the environmental impact of single use plastic is to offset this waste with the Plastic Bank.
For the estimated 1,224.00Kg of unavoidable waste plastic we directly or indirectly generate through our business activities, we have this much plastic collected from the ocean and recycled.
