Hive Cleaning Recertified as a B Corp — Achieving an Incredible 122.2

We’re thrilled to announce that Hive Cleaning has successfully recertified as a B Corp, achieving an outstanding B  Impact Assessment score of 122.2 and positioning us as the highest-ranking office cleaning company in the world, among the top 5% of B Corps globally.

This marks a major milestone for us — not just maintaining our commitment, but significantly increasing our impact since our last certification. Becoming a B Corp is about more than a badge. It’s a rigorous, multi-dimensional assessment that covers governance, workers, community, environment, and customers. Recertifying means that every three years, we’re held to high and constantly evolving standards — and this time, we’ve raised the bar significantly.

Highlights from Our B Corp Assessment

• Community: We continue to deepen our engagement with local communities through volunteering and social initiatives, such as beekeeping, reforestation and canal cleaning.

  
  

• Environment: We have achieved Net Zero in Scopes 1 and 2, and have reduced Scope 3 emissions by over 87%. Combined with the other  efforts around sustainability, we have strengthened this area even more

  
  

• Workers: Our commitment to well-being, fair pay, training, and safety continues to pay off - by paying the Real Wage, training, rewarding and looking after our workforce.

  
  

• Governance: Transparency and ethical practices remain at the core of our business, enforced by rigorous third party certifications like B Corp, as well as ISO standards, Planet Mark, Safecontractor and others. 

  
  

• Customers: We provide excellent customer care with high-quality, environmentally friendly cleaning solutions, focusing on local and independent clients.

We will continue to track and report our impact annually, highlighting progress and future goals, adapting to the new recertification standards that B Corp is implementing. We're continuing to grow our sustainability initiatives, including carbon reduction, enhancing biodiversity and community engagement, all of which remain a priority through volunteering projects. And of course, we are providing immaculate cleaning and FM services to all of our clients.
