Everyone knows how passionate we are about our urban beehives, supporting them with a percentage of our profits, and organising monthly volunteering opportunities for our customers and other stakeholders to visit the beehives, learn about these miraculous creatures and help with honey harvest, candle or frame making or other jobs.

It's always an enjoyable day, connecting with nature, helping to maintain this oasis of biodiversity at the heart of London – also a great opportunity to catch up with old friends and make new ones.

Every single time we receive amazing feedback, and it’s particularly rewarding when our clients want to be involved in looking after urban bees themselves.

Davines, one of our long-time and loyal clients, have been part of our Beekeeping Experience day, and as a company, highly focused on sustainability, wanted to be involved as well.

They are a sustainable beauty company focused on creating high-quality, professional hair care and skincare products with a strong emphasis on natural ingredients, ethical sourcing, and environmental responsibility. They are a certified B Corp like us, meaning they meet high standards of social and environmental performance.

We were delighted to work with them to acquire their own beehive (how good that etched logo looks on the hive!) and proud to see our great client’s name among the other sponsors on the wall of Bee Urban.

Everyone went home with jars of sweet, fragrant honey, lots of fresh ideas and memories of a great day.

Our senior account manager Kirk Lawrence says: ''At Hive Cleaning Ltd we love the opportunity to share our passion for sustainability with our amazing like-minded clients such as Davines. We all enjoyed a fantastic morning of educational fun in some of London’s most beautiful surroundings in the oasis of Kennington Park Apiary. We look forward to spending more time with the Davines' team and sharing even more experiences in some of our other sustainable adventures later in the summer.''
