Hive’s First Ever Company Conference

Over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend, the Hive Cleaning leadership and management team came together for something truly special — our first ever company conference.

This wasn’t just a conference, but also a chance to pause, reflect, celebrate, and look ahead to what’s shaping up to be an incredibly exciting future.

Where We’ve Come From — And Where We’re Going

The weekend kicked off with a presentation from Louis Beaumont and Daniella Beaumont, sharing the story of Hive and its journey from its beginnings, the values that define who we are, where we stand today as a business, and the trajectory we’re on as we continue to grow at pace. 

It was a powerful reminder that while our growth has been rapid, it’s been built on strong foundations — people, purpose, planet and pride in what we do.

Taskmaster-Style Team Building 

We had a fun and somewhat competitive team-building session, full of laughter as the team took part in a series of Taskmaster-inspired challenges — and they did not disappoint.

From creative problem-solving to outright chaos (the good kind), the games brought out brilliant teamwork, quick thinking and plenty of competitive spirit. 

Most importantly, they reinforced exactly what makes Hive special — collaboration, communication, and a lot of fun along the way.

The Awards 

No Hive event would be complete without recognising the people who make it all happen. Well deserved all round! 

• GOAT Trophy (Top Performer): Lola Kanto – our newest Workforce Manager, who absolutely stormed the leaderboard

• Top Banana Award (Energy & Enthusiasm): Lorna Brown – bringing unmatched positivity all weekend

• Biggest Laugh Award: Sam Callaway – for keeping the whole team entertained

More Than Just Work

Beyond the sessions and games, the weekend was packed with unforgettable moments:

🌊 Coastal walks with incredible views

🍷 Wine tasting as a team

✨ And even stargazing from the top of a 3,000ft volcano

These are the moments that build real connections — the kind that carry back into how we support each other at work every day.

Stronger Together

What stood out most from the weekend was the strength of the Hive family.

This conference wasn’t just about celebrating success — it was about building deeper relationships, strengthening communication, sharing ideas and inspiration

It was great to align everyone around where we’re heading next and look ahead. 

If this weekend proved anything, it’s that Hive is on an incredible upward trajectory — and we’re only just getting started.
