We are Carbon Neutral

We are very proud to announce that in addition to being Net Zero in Scopes 1 and 2, and continuously reducing our Scope 3 emissions, we are certified as Carbon Neutral by Planet Mark.

As one of London’s leading office and commercial cleaning companies, we pay huge attention to our sustainability and carbon reduction strategy. 

We have been monitoring and measuring our carbon footprint since the foundation of the company and have registered a steady and consistent footprint reduction. Except for our internal measurements and calculations, we have been certified with Planet Mark for 7 years.

Planet Mark is an internationally recognised sustainability certification that acknowledges continuous progress, encourages action, and is awarded to businesses committed to reducing carbon emissions. Through the certification, they help businesses to strengthen their ESG strategy, contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, and set credible net-zero carbon targets that align with the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi)’s global Net-Zero Standard & the UN Race to Zero.

They have registered and acknowledged our constant progress, and we were the recipients of their Best Company Award in 2024. 

While reducing our footprint is extremely important, we also try to achieve carbon neutrality every year. 

In general, carbon neutrality means having a balance between emitting carbon and absorbing carbon from the atmosphere in carbon sinks (which absorb more carbon than they emit). Removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and then storing it is known as carbon sequestration. In order to achieve net-zero emissions, all worldwide greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions will have to be counterbalanced by carbon sequestration.

We have achieved 100% reduction in Scopes 1 and 2 and are Net Zero in these categories. However, we have some residual footprint in some of the Scope 3 categories (as any other business), which are unavoidable. Offsetting them with a reputable company was the next step for us, and we chose to balance our emissions by supporting a renewable energy power project in India. Our credits have been used to save CO2 emissions from being released into the atmosphere. 

After verifying the retirement of our emission reductions (VERs) and our internal carbon management strategy, we are now officially carbon-neutral, as certified by Planet Mark. 

While sustainable and eco-friendly office cleaning is our main operation, we also believe that we all should take steps to look after our planet and try to reduce the impacts of global warming.
