Meet the People: Anita Domok

Another team member we'd like to introduce is the unstoppable Anita Domok. Meet her in her own words:

I’m a Senior Area Manager at Hive, which basically means I make sure our clients get top‑tier service, my team gets the support and leadership they deserve, and everything runs smoothly — preferably without any fires to put out (literal or otherwise).

Where were you born: I was born in Budapest, Hungary — centuries ago, which of course explains my timeless wisdom… and maybe my dramatic flair.

What’s your job at Hive and what does it involve:  I’m a Senior Area Manager at Hive, which basically means I make sure our clients get top‑tier service, my team gets the support and leadership they deserve, and everything runs smoothly — preferably without any fires to put out (literal or otherwise).

I’m focused on: 

• Building a dream team based on trust, communication and support; 

• Trying new, efficient and environmentally friendly ways of working; Testing ideas side‑by‑side with my team,  

• Constant self‑improvement so I can lead with purpose and a strong sense of direction; 

• In short: I manage, I motivate, I problem‑solve… and occasionally I drink too much coffee while doing all three.

Which languages do you speak? Hungarian — my mother tongue and my superpower. English — my second language, and yes, the Eastern European accent is included free of charge. Spanish — Spanish speakers will understand me; whether I can reply flawlessly is another story.

Favourite food:  Anything with poppy seeds. If it has poppy seeds, I’m already halfway in love with it.

Favourite Books: I love psychological or self‑awareness reads — the deeper the better.

Favourite Music: Musicals make me happy, and Andrea Bocelli has my heart (and my playlist).

Favourite Films: Scarface and Click top the list for movies; and Suits is, in my opinion, the best series ever created. No debate.

Hobbies: Travel is my passion — once a travel agent, always a travel addict. I want my kids to see the world and know it’s all theirs with no limits. And if there’s a Latin night… I’m already on the dance floor.

Best thing about working at Hive: The absolute best thing about Hive is our amazing team. There’s no challenge too big for us — seriously, we’ve proven this many times. I’ve built so many great and funny memories over the past four years that picking just one is impossible… and probably dangerous, because someone might recognise themselves in the story. 🤭
