Meet the People: Kirk Lawrence

KIRK LAWRENCE is one of our Senior Account Managers, and here is Kirk, in his own words:

My job:

The main strands to my role are managing a team of Area Managers and also being the point of contact for clients for queries relating to budgets or contractual changes.

Where were you born? I was born in Rochford in Essex

Which languages do you speak? Just English, but I’m half German on my mother's side. I used to speak German many years ago but not anymore.

What's your favourite food? I do like a curry every now and again, so it's a treat, hence one of my favourites.

Favourite music? Music, I like all genres also like 80’s and 90’s.

Favourite film is Home Alone, we only watch it at Christmas as a family…so has nice memories.

What are your hobbies? Playing golf, paddleboarding, and watching my son play rugby.

What's the best thing about working at Hive? The best is doing out-of-office events, like tree planting in Devon, canal cleans-ups in summer. Nice change to the norm and get to meet clients in a different environment.

What's your funniest memory? The funniest is myself and Chris trying to help in the office move and realising we were too old and too weak to move a table. Ended up with us stuck in a tight corner laughing too hard that we could not move!!!!!
