Meet the People: Louis Beaumont

Louis Beaumont is Hive Cleaning's Managing Director, steering the company with enthusiasm, energy and dedication to running a sustainable and ethical business. Meet Louis in his own words:

I’m the Managing Director at Hive Cleaning. My role is really about leadership, mentoring our team and helping guide the direction of the business. I spend a lot of time supporting our managers, developing people, and making sure we continue building a company that delivers great service while staying true to our values.

Where were you born? I was born in the picturesque town of Beverley in Yorkshire, many moons ago!

Which languages do you speak? English, and a little Spanish and French (enough to get by or at least order food and a beer!).

Favourite food? It’s easier to answer which food I don’t like… pasta - I know I am a wierdo - don't judge me!! I enjoy pretty much everything else.

Favourite film: My favourite film is The Shawshank Redemption – what a great film. Morgan Freeman’s voice and acting skills are incredible.

Favourite music: Musically, I have very eclectic tastes. I enjoy most genres depending on my mood – from classical to rock, pop and country. Even bands I wouldn’t normally listen to, I often love when seeing live. There’s something magical about watching musicians playing instruments together in unison and creating music live.

Hobbies: All the usual suspects – travel , (my wife and I once drove a landrover from London to Australia), scuba diving and food. More recently I’ve started learning to play golf… and I’m completely hooked! I just wish I’d started earlier in life when I was a bit more agile!

Best thing about working at Hive: The people, without a doubt. It’s a privilege to work with people who genuinely care about what we’re building and put their heart and soul into it every day. There are far too many great memories to choose just one.
