March is also International Women's Month, and we’re proud to celebrate the women who shape our company. As a majority women-run business, supporting, promoting and championing women has always been at the heart of what we do. This blog spotlights Lorna May Brown.

She's a Senior Account Manager, responsible for managing client relationships and acting as their main point of contact. She monitors service quality through regular site visits, resolves any issues, coordinates with cleaning teams, and oversees contracts, renewals, and additional services.

Where were you born? Marbella, Spain.

What’s your job at Hive and what does it involve? I’m a Senior Account Manager, responsible for managing client relationships and acting as their main point of contact. I monitor service quality through regular site visits, resolve any issues, coordinate with cleaning teams, and oversee contracts, renewals, and additional services.

Which languages do you speak? English and Spanish (both fluent)

Favourite food? Asian food—especially curries and pho. They’re the best!

Favourite music? My music taste is quite varied. I enjoy classic rock and alternative metal, including bands like Incubus and Black Sabbath, as well as Latin music such as Juanes and La Oreja de Van Gogh.

What are your hobbies? I love taking my dog, Ariel, for walks and teaching him new tricks (& cuddling him). I also enjoy reading, doing puzzles, and playing video games.

Best thing about working at Hive? The best thing about working at Hive is being surrounded by people who genuinely care about each other and the company. Everyone is passionate, supportive, and works as a strong team.

What's your favourite Hive memory? My favourite memory so far is last year’s tree planting event. The weather was perfect, the company was great, and it was an amazing day working with clients, suppliers, and colleagues while doing something positive for the environment.
